Part numbers.

I've just fixed the leaking power steering pipe and seem to have disturbed the plastic elbow on the end of the water pump, now I have coolant dripping all over.
The plastic elbow on the end of the water pump has a rubber gasket which has become squashed and needs changing. Which parts are available? The gasket, the complete elbow?

How do i find a part numbers for 944 items, is there a breakdown within the Porsche manual set?
I feel more comfortable quoting part numbers rather than "The rubber thing in plastic elbow thingy on the water pump".

Hi Darren,

The elbow and o-ring are available from the Porsche (the o-ring was all I needed and cost a few pence IIRC). I didn't bother with a new elbow just made sure it was nice and clean. Had a lot of limescale on it so cleaned it with a scouring pad and some kitchen cleaner. Was bone dry afterwards.

Give Chris Radden a call at Porsche Exeter on 01392 822800, hes a great guy and supplies parts to a lot of the forum members.

Cheers
