Bye bye faithful steed!

With slightly moist eyes, I waved goodbye to my Ice Blue Turbo 'S' this weekend.

Over the last 5 years, we have shared many adventures together and I have sometimes asked more of her than any friend has a right to expect, but she has served me faithfully and never, ever let me down. [:)]

If her new owner has half the fun I have had with her, he will indeed be fully fulfilled and content. She is remaining in the South West and will therefore continue to thrive in her natural habitat - the lanes of Devon and Cornwall. [;)]

As to my future plans - who knows? Maybe I'm too old to be driving high performance sports cars at my time of life. [:(] I know I shall miss the car, as for the first time for many years, I am 911-less. [&:]

However, onwards and upwards!

Regards,

Clive

It really has been all change for you Clive. Did you sell privately? Someone got a deal no doubt.

I'm sure you are sorry to see that superb car go.

Hope to see you out and about in a suitable replacement before long! Judging by you driving on the Spring tour you don't need to hang up the driving gloves yet my friend!

That's really sad reading, nearly brought a tear to my eye.
hope you find something suitable to fill the void
all the best
Steve

Pleased you've found a loving buyer for the old girl Clive, always a shame to let a good one get away, but hopefully onwards to new adventures, maybe the Turbo Macan is the way forward now, Peter never seems to struggle in his KN [:D]

Didn't see that one coming [:-]. I remember first meeting up at Ruthin Castle when you had your yellow 997, that's a while ago!

Having been 911-less myself for the last 9 months and 11 days (ok I made the last bit up) the anticipation for the next one gets ever more sweet. Keep us posted on your thoughts for a replacement, whatever that may be.

Sorry to hear your lovely turbo has gone to pastures new, hope it will not be long before
a replacement comes along Clive, Prehaps a move to the dark side 991 turbo Prehaps ?, ??,
I know it won,t be a GT3 ,double wink ??.
