Parts for my race car

Hi,

Does anyone know where I can get some aluminium chequer plate footwell panels ? They are for my race car.

I'm also after a blanking plate for the radio hole, that can take the switches from the centre console and two folding tow hooks.

Oh yes and an AMB Tranx 260 transponder, the direct powered type...

Cheers
Richard

There was some recent discussion on Rennlist about the radio block off panel and switches to suit it. The panel was from Rennline (here). I've certainly also seen mention of the aluminium footwell panels and certainly Rennline do those too (here). It wouldn't surprise me if there were other suppliers but I don't have any details. Can't help on the AMB transponder I'm afraid.

Regards

Dave

BTW, the Rennlist thread is here.

Can be easily made up -use the wooden floor board as a pattern then reverse it for the pax footwell, (if required.)
Any probs, you can use mine as pattern -not far from you in Surrey. See below. The footrest/passenger brake pedal ([;)]) is a standard Sparco item.

Readily available, I believe

two folding tow hooks.

964RS reg member STEVE HENSON may be able to help you there, or I assume usual suspects -Demon Tweaks or GPR...

Thanks Melv, Dave.

I did see the Rennline tow hooks and blanking plate, there is a company selling them here at a ridiculous mark up so I may just order them from the States. Shame about the exchange rate though !

Melv, how thick was the plate you used? I am happy to make them myself if I can find some where that that can sell me some sheets.

Cheers

Just to let you know if you are interested that I've ordered the tow hooks and blanking plate from Rennline in the States and Jaz are going to make me the floorboards as per 964 Cup spec.

I can't wait for the first race !
