I have a few items I would like to buy for the 944 project

I have not real good older breakers my way infact they had a 944 in and it was crushed in under 3 weeks because no one bought any thing off it ! [&:]

So I am looking for some blue carpet from the boot area by the battery the acid has eaten mine up ..

it's page 271 and item 11 but I need 12 as it's the passenger side?

Also knob! yep I have the blower motor knob missing ( broken ) from my car.

also the clock on the dash that digital one is there a repair for the screen our one in the cab was great but it's suddenly gone misty and the one in the Lux has totaly gone?

any help would be great thanks.. I am determind to get this car up to scratch [:D]
 
I think I have a spare blower knob will check tomorrow and PM you.
You can get clock refurb kits from Sulzeruk on here.I did mine a while ago all ok.

I have 5 refurbished clocks for sale

also I have a marine blue carpet set for sale if you are interested

Thanks, but it sounds like you want to sell the whole set ?

I only need the side in the boot as the rest is good. Let me know other wise. I have no older breakers my way any more Dam eu rules!

Clock repair kits that sounds the ticket and a project. Any links to follow ? I'm going to google it now


Update yeah there is a guy doing kits I will look in to this more I did think before about looking in maplins or RS for a basic display but clearly this guys already done the research and made a kit nice one. I don't use it much but its a problem that needs sorting cheers

found a spare blower speed knob.PM me your details and I will stick it in the post.
They get brittle with age so when you fit it make sure it is at room temp not outside cold temp.

In no way a hijack, more a piggyback, of this thread... On the dashboard of my 1986 S2 there is a circular plastic piece that looks a bit like a cage. I am guessing it is a cover for a sensor of some description. Does this have a name so I can order one? Previously someone has put their finger through it!

Is that the bit that comes out if you turn it 90 degrees, if so it is the cabin temperature sensor "cover" or grill. There will be a phillips screw there too, its one of the trim panel securing screws
 
Thanks. That sounds about right. I'll see if Porsche can still supply them now I know what to ask for.
