Are these any good seem a good price?
Good news on the rusty sill front just need a couple of patches where the underneath has caught/driven over something around £100 of welding required.
Have the auto electricians having a look at the car this week suspects it might be the key barrel that is causing the starting, further investigation required though.

You can get new CV boots from GSF for around £6 or so I think Wayne. The disks won't be a huge amount either.

I bought some pads for my S2 from these people:

http://www.brakeparts.co.uk/detected.html

They were VERY cheap, and had slightly steep postage charges; the overall price was still cheaper than collecting them from Euro Car Parts. (And they were very helpful on the telephone and the parts were genuine Mintex.)

The P&P is the same no matter what you buy, so disks and pads will work out very cheap.

Out of stock for the early model....ordered some from merlin motorsports, spax ones turn up Friday.

Which Spax kit are you getting, adjustable or non adjustable shocks? I was looking at them as it's £370 for a full kit including front springs which is quite tempting so it will be good to hear what they're like.

Link to another site's pics as the merlin doesn't have pics and yep adjustable damping.
£120 inc p&P comes tomorrow will let you know what there like, but wanted spax as I managed to get a set of spax springs for the front cheap so made sense to stay with spax for the price.
Off to buy the cv joints and discs and pads now from eurocarparts.
