Hi Could anybody help me please.I have a 997 2006 and it cannot keep its passenger mirror position. When I reverse it goes straight to the floor, would it be memory programming or do they suffer with common faults,

Many THANKS Marc

Put the mirror adjustment selector switch to the drivers mirror and then select reverse. If the the passenger mirror doesn't drop then I think it probably needs re-programming.

But the passenger mirror is designed to go to the floor in reverse to look at the kerb. changing the selector switch turns this functionality off and the mirror should stay up in reverse.

I thought the angle of dangle of the passenger mirror when selecting reverse could be set into the memory or is that just on cars with memory seats? Read the manual is the answer, I suppose![:)]

Hi when I select reverse it goes all the way down but whe I start trhe car it goes to the the reverse setting then when I put in reverse it goes to the lowest setting then I have to correct with the mirror adjust.
