Passenger side rattle

Have an occasional plasticky (as opposed to metallic) rattle from the passenger side.

Am I right that it is possible for the flexible duct that joins the pass side air vent to work loose and hence 'rattle'?

I'm only asking as I appreciate that asking the OPC to chase a rattle is potentially an exercise in either vain and/or risk of generation of additional ones"¦

If I'm right, is it accessible via the plastic trim plate on the end of the dash? (i.e. and therefore easily cured"¦)

Mine has developed a similar rattle/buzzing noise on same side. Traced to a very slightly loose wing mirror. To be rectified at next service.
