Passenger Window Fault

Hi All,

I recently went to lower the passenger window and it sounded like the motor was working but the window didn't lower. I left it, however whilst driving I noticed the window had dropped slightly. When I got back I found the window could be pushed up and down by hand. I stripped the door and found a wire had snapped, not electrical, but like a wire cable. only about 1mm in diameter. The motor still seems to work fine, just no movement on the window. I just can't quite get in enough to work out where it's from and why it would cause it not to work.

Any ideas on a fix or replacement parts I need?

Thanking you in advance.

David

It is the window regulator cable which has broken. You have to replace the whole assembly.

Passenger side part number 996.542.075.04. £115.80 +VAT.
