Passenger window glass

Hi,

Just bought myself a Carrera 3.2 and have noticed that the passenger glass in the window slides down a little. The power switch works as I can hear a motor running when pressing the window switch, but only occasionally does it make the windows open.

Is there a common theme with these windows that you can identify that may be the problem. and....is it easy to fix?

Thanks

the grease in the runners often dry up and cause stiffness, just remove the door card and furnishings and give it a good lube. Make sure the plastic membrane is in good shape when you glue it back on.

There are a few reasons this may happen you need to take the door card off and have a look at the mechanism it may only need a bit of gease as Big_nige said but the glass may have come out rubber that holds it in the channel in the mechanism, but untill you have a look you will not know
Its a simple job to take the card off about 20min good luck

its all pretty easy stuff, just be careful when you pry the panel off and when removing the door bins, they can be abit fragile with age. I find an old fashioned wooden clothes peg snapped in half the idea tool for prying trim and alike off.
