So there I was in Glasgow OPC collecting a few parts and ordering the other parts that I forgot to order. Ok so I need one of the famous heater clips ( the one that helps you get hot and cold air). Danny ( OPC Glasgow parts hero ) and I are looking at pet to try and find the part nos. The version of pet that they have is different to mine and the clips etc is not obvious on the picture. We can't be sure of what part it is I need. So we go onto the forum ( this one ) and find Paul's port in the tech sections and low and behold there are the relevant part nos. So thank Paul you saved the day. That's a beer I owe you.

Excellent! I'll be there tomorrow. AA route planner suggests 393.9 miles, and I should shave a bit off their estimate of 7 hours 3 minutes. I'll just have the one beer: I'll need to get back home as we're out in the evening. []
Seriously, it's good to see the info on the forum being useful. I would love to have everything on the 944s in one place, under an organisation like PCGB who aren't going to disappear suddenly: imagine if Clark decided to close his website! [&o]
Brilliant.
I love the power of the forum when it helps members in this way.
Paul, you are a legend in the world of Porsche!

But is there a -"how to"- to tell you -how to- put them all in the same place,I ask myself.
Must admit that my Haynes -924 manual & 944 manual are bursting at the seams with prints out of Clarkes Garage, prints from PET & other things like the Bosch terminal index, brake bleeder instructions etc-I suppose in a weak moment I should index them all in plastic file envelopes in a hardback folder.
