What price do we think?
£50k - £60k - £70k more

Not a betting man Si', but I would wager 70; Ollie's is a not unreasonable 63.

Now if I hadn't already committed to something newer; which I fear most of the '64RS bretheran will argue, "not as pure/much fun as that advertised here".

I'd be surprised if it's any less than £70k. The RHD Touring which had similar mileage recently sold privately on PH for £70k.

David,

Probably less than £70k for this Lightweight, as they made so many more Lights than Touring (just 7).
Common as Muck the RHD RS Lightweight compared to its Touring sibling.
Reckon £45k, tops!

Des may have a better handle on the prices[:D]

Calling Des, 964RS Calling Des - Penny for your thoughts?

A lot of waffle in the advert - only one line is actually about the car in question. I reckon it'll be a fiver under £80K.

Wayhey Crossy!!! Finally stopped kicking tyres and bought something worthwhile (little red widebody 993 I hear rumours?)! Good work!

80k is a lot of money, albeit a lovely looking bit of kit.

Haha yes Rick I've finally decided on one. Gt3 I shelved as our sound of that aircooled was soooo lovely. She's a c4 beauty. Lovely day to pick her up today with glorious sunshine and nice cold air for the engine to feed on.

An original and mean original factory setting Lightweight Carpet in either RHD or LHD are worth about the same money now due to exchange rates and Worldwide demand.

80K seems a new benchmark, not many for sale and if you want RHD what choice do you have. Makes Steve Henson car look a more useable track day toy and buy.

Someone will pay it, who knows next year price?

Know the car very well, my first ride in a 964 rs, belonged to stu speed ( mint green 64 clubsport )
Stu purchased this from JCT 600 in 1995 at a cost of £43,000, the mileage was 1876 miles, Stu had the rs for 6 years covering around 20,000 miles, he sold it to Tony Darkes for £30,000 in 2002 with around 22,000 miles, stu still has the original sales receipt
with the chassis number WPOZZZ96ZNS491084, I remember the salesman telling Stu the car had covered 18000 miles only when he viewed the rs he saw it was 1800 miles ! I had a 930 turbo at the time and always remember my first drive of this 964 rs, the throttle response was incredible being used to the lag of a 930, fantastic 964 rs.

The pictures are diabolical and the text not much better...

What on earth is going on with this pic??

Looks like someone has adjusted the HSB in Photoshop that's why it's gone all blotchy, I'd try harder with web presentation if asking 80k...

They don't need to try too hard as someone has already bid more than 80k. Chap from HK viewing it today. They are a very good independent that tell it how it is so people tend to trust them. My own personal experience of them has been superb.

Hong Kong is the place ........ out of interest what has been the £ against HK Dollar performance over the last two years?
