PC Leeds are holding a Porsche Experience day on Saturday 10th May and we have been invited to put together some activities and join in.

So it would be great to have a display of cars, covering all the eras that goes on during the day. We can revolve the cars to fit in with everyones schedule but I would like to get 10 cars on show at a time.

There should be a lot of new to Porsche people around on the day as well as existing customers so this is a good opportunity to sell our selves and show that we are not wierdy beardies.

The centre will be having the usual test drives available, heritage cars on show, Porsche Experience centre and kids activities so it should be fun for all the family.

If you would like to be part of it then get in touch. I really want to have a mix of cars, not just 911s, and a good mix across the years. Would also be good to get some turbos on show being 40 years this year.

hi Mark, If its Saturday 2nd May, I would be happy to bring along the old 993 later in the day as I'm in that neck of the woods anyway. regards

Apologies everyone I seem to be suffering date senility this year. The event is on the 10th I have no idea where that other date came from.

I'm booked in for an MOT there on that day, so should be able to hang around for a further hour or so in the morning if that helps - car's a Boxster Spyder. Steve Edited - JCT600 have called to cancel the MOT (no tester apparently!), so I'll not be there in the car on Saturday now.

Hi Mark, Just asking about event on Saturday. What time does it start/finish? Any order of cars needed? Regards John Oakes

Hi John. The Porsche centre haven't come back. They were going to come to last nights meeting to talk about but never made it. I will be chasing it up today.
