PCA Video on 987 v 981 Spyder

Great , thanks for posting. I own the 987 version in his ideal spec and have driven my friends 981 as comparison. I think this PCA chap is spot on with his review. I chose mine as a purely fun car so the top options , connection , gearing , lightness etc took preference. Also the aggressiveness of styling and even exhaust of 981 was not to my taste , + prefer the lighter clutch of the 987. I love red and this 981 looks gorgeous and with that power and sound would be encouraging me into the Red Mist zone too much !

Great read thanks for the post ..I agree with his summary off the two cars ,as many will know I owned both cars in RED but have since moved on the 981 for no particular reason they are a great car ,in fact at one point it was my intention to add a third a 718 to the garage again in RED . My ideal would be the front end off the 981 and the rear off the 987 which imo looks fantastic ,the sound off the 981 is amazing but can be a little to much with the pops and after a while ,the 987 drives better feels like you are more connected, the roof in both are not ideal but that is part off the charm , in the 987 at least you can open the boot to put things in without disconnecting the fins .I am sure no matter what Spyder one will buy you will have loads off fun and will put smiles on your face ,unfortunately that may not be for some time soon [:(]

What a refreshing review! No yelps, whoopies, gasps and repeated "AWSOME" screams, just plain facts and measured opinions.
Rare.
I love them both!
