PCF - what to bring.......

Beyond a toothbrush, boxers and vouchers for waffles, beer and frites etc etc.....what bits for the cars is everybody taking with them.

Just wondering exactly how much I do need to bring or how much support there is likely to be......

In the past with the Michelin Tyre Support was it possible to reserve tyres / arrange for certain sets to be available or is it a case of turning up and trying your luck.

Tyres and brakes are the main thing , last year I got worried about my front brake pads and was able to get some Pagid RS29 s from one of the support teams. Tyres are an issue if you are having to drive the car back , I'm going out with 'new' R888s this time ,last time it was Dunlop's with not enough tread 2-3mm for really wet Belgian motorways ie max 110km/hr was about my limit at times

I'll have set of spare tyres, tool kit(s), jack, etc etc -but we will have Olav in close support this year from Speedservice.nl.

He fitted new set of front pads for me last year (that I supplied BTW!!) and wouldn't take any payment!

Mind you, I understand Philippe and Charles have handed over large quantities of muller to him over the last few months.....[:D][:D][:D]

Thanks guys, just the kind of confirmation I was looking for. I'm going to bring a spare set of discs and pads and a few other consumables. Really quite excited !!

Well, by Spa I should have new set overhauled Bilsteins, new front discs, new front ARB drop arms, full set new Pagids.......[8|]

So if I don't buy u a drink you know why!![;)]
 
im planning on bringing a few tools and things to cover my trip there and back, if anyone needs me to "mule" anything across the channel its only me in the car so have quite a bit of spare space..

also if anyone needs specific spares which get forgotten or are "required unexpectedly" get in touch; im not leaving until friday evening and have an OPC and a couple of good specialists close by so should be able to get my mitt's on parts ok (as long as no one needs a spare engine; I dont have that sort of cash to hand! )

should be arriving around mid morning saturday, and am available for spanner monkey-ing until mid morning monday [:D]

There is free Penders OPC support for parts only price. Loads of folk make use of this if you need new brakes.

Michelin have Cup tyres at good prices.

Petrol station now in the track area so no jerry cans needed.

Olav has mechanics for bigger jobs or quick pad changes. He has all tools and nitrogen for air jacks. Compressor for tyres.

You just need a toothbrush!
