All R3 members who have registered as drivers/passengers or who are attending as spectators at Croft on Wednesday 3rd August are warmly welcome to join us for our lunch time BBQ. I'm sure everyone will understand this has to be a weather permitting invite, if it's pouring we'll not be able to set up the catering operation.

The track day lunch break is from 12.30 - 1.30 so, if you are participating, or wanting to see some R3 cars and drivers on track alongside members from other regions, then why not time your visit to include a bite to eat during the social part of the day.

I'd be grateful if everyone who wishes to join us (participants and spectators) could let us know via this thread, as that will help us determine quantities of food. If you would prefer vegetarian options please also indicate that preference too.

Here's hoping the sun will continue to shine and the tarmac will be hot and dry!

Drive safe everyone

John & Gillian

Hi John & Gillian,

Thanks for the offer. I'm attending the track day so it will be great to meet my fellow R3 members!

R, Peter

Can you just turn up to spectate ? Wouldn't mind a look around the cars .

Fully paid up member but never been to an event.

Cheers

Hey Lloyd, time you came to an event then and let us see your car.

I'm sure John will give you a bit more gen but look forward to meeting you.

Spectators are most welcome to attend the track day, you don’t need to do anything in advance regarding notification. You might need your membership card at the gate.

If you are intending to be at the track over the lunch period (12.30—1.30) then please join us for the BBQ. Just let us know via another post here.

Drive safe

John

The weather is forecast to be dry on Wednesday at Croft so last call for the BBQ.

If you've posted here by 10.00am on Tuesday 2nd August we'll be able to include you.

Looking forward to seeing everyone who have responded here.

Drive safe

Quick reminders for Croft (or Corft as I tryped in the title of this thread!)

If you’re taking your car on track remember to bring your driving license and a helmet.

Bringing a picnic chair is a good idea for when not on track, and for the lunch break.

Bring your own drinks as the BBQ is food only.

See you tomorrow

Drive safe

John
