PCGB discount at OPC

Your PCGB membership would get you a 10% discount at most OPC's.

Where do I find details of this. Does PCGB membership give 10% discount off 111 point check and annual OPC warrantee too ?

I just had my 24k service, a brake fluid change and my warranty renewal at Cambridge.

I got 10% off the service (parts and labour) so that paid for this years membership but I never got a penny off the warranty.

So you probably would get 10% on just the 111 point check.

I'd always thought the same but when I got the bill I decided not to complain ;-)

Richard,

1. There is definately no discount on the Porsche warranty.
2. OPC will not advertise the discount (even if they see the stickers in your car).
3. I found that I had to ask for the PCGB discount in advance of any work done.

I'm sure that you and Jason are right, but you would have thought that at the time of the CoC they could have standardised the situation. I know Reading are OK about discount over the parts counter, but I've no experience of parts used during service work. My guess is that Andy got lucky.

I have specifically asked the question at Aberdeen OPC and been told on every occasion that there is no PCGB discount available on anything...parts or labour.
It looks like its very much up to the individual dealer.

Opc cambridge have given me 10% off parts on service items it even shows it on the invoice on each part listed, if your car is over 5 years old you get 25% off the labour as well,(very handy when i wanted a PSE fitted) this does encourage the older cars they always have 993's the odd SC, 928 and i even have seen a 924 in there work shop, which is nice to see.

Thanks for the feedback - I've got the 111pt check tomorrow am, so I'll ask Colchester OPC what their discount policy is then ...
