Parking was poorly organised, so I parked with Region 9 and then found my way on foot to Early 911 Register. Overall, a big turnout, but not that much going on for a more track / motorsport oriented owner like me

My picture of my boy in front of my 911 file to large cannot load it damm after a drive of over 400 miles not
impressed with the show at all access, catering , stewards lack of, exit signs none .

Let hope people at the top listen to the people at the bottom it needs a family event theme. Like many have already said Brands has the whole package good ,access, catering and racing, fun fair etc run it along side a Carrera cup round maybe will help with cost then as well.

SEE YA

Hopefully a few of the early cars got together.

that's just not good news.. if the older cars are not turning up.. if it keeps getting like this the shows will look like a Dealers forcort instead of a show..

just a shame..

at its busiest i think i counted approx
3x912
2x sportomatic 911
15x early 911
5x914 and
8x356 although they seemed to keep moving around the show so made it difficult.

I don't feel so bad about missing it now (had a really good mountain biking trip planned). So where's the place to be in my early Porsche then?

answer ... DDK [;)][:D]

what kind of biking do you do? X-country or DH ? I do a bit myself along with some other DDKers, although I'm trying to get fit again. Planning on an Oct / Nov get together up at Grisdale Forest

Mainly XC, but bordering on DH at times (6" travel go-anywhere full susser). We were out at the Forest of Dean on Sunday, which is a superb mixture of natural singletrack, with a few proper DH runs thrown in. Still not fully recovered yet! Never been biking in Grisdale Forest. Sounds interesting though.
