A sincere message of gratitude to all members whom supported and attended our event yesterday in attrocious weather conditions.
This did not prevent everyone having a thoroughly enjoyable day amidst the rain and wind.

Social camaradarie stems from this type of day, Cayenne S off roading on muddy Land Rover off road courses, driving skills on wet tarmac surface in the GTS, visiting the British Motor Heritage Centre collection, complimentary tea & coffee and lite bites, PCGB Club shop and Race centre (thanks Arkwight!) and much more, all this would not have been possible without the support from dedicated mmebers....thank you once again on behalf of PCGB for your dedication, especially when pre-booking and advance payemnt was not necessary for this event!

A note of gratitude to newly elected directors Barry Smith and Geoff Ives both attendinbg and supporting Denise and myself.

To John Chapman, our PCGB priceless contractual event support construction, Paul Moran (Arkwright to friends!) in club shop, Porsche cars GB, especially Vicki Watkins & Geoff Turral, Porsche Centre Silverstone (especially ) Robin Simpson, Porsche centre Cambridge (especially Gary Sorrell and senior Tech Dan Fisher) and John Bishop and team at Gaydon Motor Heritage/Land Rover |UK...and last but by no means leat the band of fellow Register Secretaries whom attended (997RS Robert, Cayenne RS Paul, Boxster RS Mark & Claire, 3.2RS Charles and Annie..the future Mrs Marsland on 08-08-08 (congrats in advance!) and assisted along with volunteer members Andy Willis, Paul Ebbs, Eddie & Clare...thank you all indeed
Anyone I overlooked apologies..otherwise thanks again for what would be superb in the better weather, however it can not always be shorts and shades at events as we all understand..until Silverstone..defintely shorts and shades guaranteed otherwise i'll eat my air filter!

Danke Schuin

It certainly did! [:D]

My thanks also to Johnny and Denise, Arkwright, John and the truck team, Porsche Solihull, Gary and Dan, etc etc...

This was the first Gaydon Modern event I have been able to attend, and my forst time in the Cayenne off-road experience. A brilliant day and such a shame the weather cut down on numbers. Thoroughly enjoyed it! [:)]
