I took the 911E to the recent ( 27-04-11 ) club trackday , as reported elsewhere on the 964RS forum.
It was the only early car on the day apart from a viper green 911RSR tribute with 964 engine , and passed the noise test at 101db which was a bit higher than last years trackday average of 100db.
The 1969 E was a bit off the pace as the field was mainly late model GT3s , but its first trackday of the year and so driver not up to speed either.........here's a clip that captures the advantage of having 175 extra bhp in a 40 year younger car ![
