Further to last years PGGB/OPC Glasgow track day at knockhill,

I have just had confirmation that we will be running this event again in 2016.

Date will be Sat 7th May. (price I believe will be the same as last year £200)
Format tbc,
Booking will be through normal club office for members. (or OPC if you prefer)
Details will be in the forthcoming Porsche Post.

Regards
Scott.

Great news! I have a new set of Cup 2's to appraise for my CR.
I'll be there again.........and I will keep a spare set of car keys in my pocket this time!

Bo***ks I'm away that weekend too
Shame, it was a very well organised day last year and well attended.
I'm sure my abscence will ensure even higher attendees. [:)]
Right now with the weather so bad my poor old Porsche is gathering dust and appreciating with vigour !!
All the best over Christmas and Happy New Year when it comes
Mike

The planets seem to be in alignment! my God, I'm actually home!! I'm up for that , it'll be my first track day mind you.Scary prospect.

Booking form sent off this morning for this. This event was my first trackday last year and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Great to see it back on the schedule this year.

Ive just renewed my club membership so will get signed up for this soon, will be my first time on track in my Porsche.

I'm thinking about attending this as my first (with my own car!) track day having done a few days at palmersport and similar events. My query is my 981 has an extended 2 year warranty in place currently and I have a new set of non n-rated michelin supersports ready to fit which would survive this a lot better than the p-zeros currently fitted. In your opinion or previous experience maybe, if a fault developed that would normally be covered by the warranty, will this still be covered or will I be told tough luck due to fitting the tyres? Is there a contact at the OPC that I would be best consulting? Thanks for any help.

What does everyone do about track day insurance?

I am considering signing up for this or at least spectating. As a spectator do we get to access the pit area etc. Would like to see how these things run before actually driving one.....

Just made confirmed booking for this day ( and a half day at Anglesey) so looking forward to both. Think I just scraped into Knockhill which is almost full. Getting some Goodyear F1s fitted to my 18" winter wheels rather than shredding my 20" P-Zeros ( as if).

I shouldn't have debated this for so long, didn't realise it was full. If anyone drops out hopefully they'll post here and I'll nip along.
I may come spectate regardless!
