Scott,

Is anyone from Region1 or Region2 staying over on the Saturday night around and about Blair Castle or Perthshire area, just wondering about a wee Saturday night away with my good lady. Wondered if any other members were doing the same ???
Also wondered if there were any recommendations on Accomodation.

Cheers Al

I was thinking about meeting for breakfast at Dobbies, but it's over an hour to Blair Atholl from there so would need to leave at 8:45 and I don't think they open until 9.
Could meet at Stirling services for quick coffee at 8:30 if you want.

Alan.

Hi Al,
We've booked B&B at Balnearn House Aberfeldy for Sat night. First time there so hoping it will be fine and we can find a 'pub grub' place nearby. Haven't heard of anyone else staying over on Sat as yet.

Paul

What about meeting further up the road, McDonald's at Broxden roundabout Perth or Dobbies on Perth bypass. Blair Atholl approx 45 mins from there.

Thanks for the info Paul, looks now like we are driving up in the am, as we have a family thing on the saturday. Will catch up
with you on Sunday.
best regards
cheers Al

We could meet up at Dobbies Perth, they open at 9:00. It's 33 miles to Blair Atholl from there so would need to head of at 9:20.

Alan.

I was going to have a run up on Sunday not entering the concours as not a PCGB member and was wondering what the parking arrangements are for non members do you have to be there for a certain time or is it public parking for the unwashed [:D]

Pretty sure it won't be an issue if you are arriving in a Porsche. Just drive up the main drive to the castle, pay your £6 entry, and say you are with the Club.

(unless anyone knows otherwise!)

Cheers for the reply John will toddle up the road tomorrow, (just for some info the unmarked police car that runs up and down the A9 from Perth is a slate grey Audi)

Good day ..well done to all the organizers and judges and all the prize winners well deserved some well polished cars on display .esp Kenny in his Spyder the shine[8D] on his car was like looking in a mirror.

Sorry should have said a special thanks to the NCP car park attendant [:D][:D][:D]

Just a quick post to echo the sentiments already posted. Well done to Gill for keeping everything running and on time. A great location and great weather. Our first concours and enjoyed it very much.

Big shout for Gill and Scott on organising the concours, thought the venue was excellent, but the organisation was even better.
First time I had been without my boys, so allowed me and Su to come in a 911, and am I sure glad I did. :))

Was blown away by getting the prize for my Gt2, always new I loved the Rainforest Green colour, but was amazed at the amount of
Complimentary comments I got on what is an unusual colour to see a Porsche in.

Huge thanks to all who voted for my car.

Cheers Al

Agree with everything said above, Alan your GT2 looked amazing in the sunlight.
Also very pleased with what I won with the Boxter Spyder on its first concours event, really didn't expect any prizes considering the state the car got into on the way there and how difficult it is to keep a black car looking good.
