Annual PCGB Static Display at Brooklands Museum (Next bank holiday weekend in May) [FONT=verdana, geneva"]
[FONT=verdana, geneva"]We will be having our annual static Porsche display at the Brooklands Museum, the birthplace of British Motorsport and Aviation on Saturday, the 23rd of May, 2009. This year we will also have the 928 register having their annual meet at Brooklands. [FONT=verdana, geneva"]
[FONT=verdana, geneva"][FONT=verdana, geneva"]All Porsches will be on display in the paddock in front of the historic club house with an overflow in the car park immediately next to it and the day will be open to the general public. The museum opens at 10am and we request that display cars to be there around 9:15am. The 928s will be directed to a special display area, so please follow the instruction from the marshalls on the day. [FONT=verdana, geneva"]
[FONT=verdana, geneva"]We will then have the opportunity to visit the museum and at around 12noon we will all be escorted to the historic banks in our Porsches for a photoshoot. The 928s will have a seperate session as we will not be able to accomodate all the Porsches on the bank all at once. This is weather dependent and can be moved earlier or later but the museum marshalls will keep everyone informed. [FONT=verdana, geneva"]
[FONT=verdana, geneva"]We will all have lunch at the local cafeteria. [FONT=verdana, geneva"]
[FONT=verdana, geneva"]Price to be paid on the day:
Adult - £9.00
Senior Citizen/ Student - £7.00
Children aged 5-16 - £5.00

We are expecting over 100 Porsches! It is also going to be the largest gathers of 928s this year, we are expecting 50+ from all over UK and I think a few are coming across from mainland Europe.

Here are members photos from last year:

Looks fantastic. Just checking as we haven't been before - is arrival before 10 mandatory to get parked with Porsches and get on the banking? Is that the same thing as being a "display car"?

Hi Brian,
No, you can arrive later; all Porsches parked will be part of the display directly or indirectly. If you arrive early you will end up in front of the club house so more of a part of the main display.... we will go on the banks at around 12noon (weather dependent); Brooklands officials would like those going on the banks to come in for a safety briefing which will take place around 11am at the front entrance so make sure you are parked by then.

See you on Saturday!
