Hi everyone. Is anybody else out there attending the PCGB Track day at Croft, North York, in a few weeks time? Its on Thursday 21st September and costs £180.
Croft is a seriously challenging track and should make for a good day out.

yes I'll be there in my silver 993, its my first time on a track, so give me some room and dont crash into me!! Do I get learner plates to identify I'm a novice?

I'm going with my 993 and Jacob's going to be there with his 3.2.

Don't think you quite need learner plates to be honest David. You'll love every minute of it and you just need to go at your own pace. Best advice I can give is to limit the time you go out for a session, because it's being run as open pit lane so technically you could go out in the morning and stay out all day! Time seems to fly by to me when I'm on track, so a twenty minute session can feel like ten.

There'll no doubt be some old hands at trackdays there and seen as everyone is pretty friendly, (ok, perhaps not first thing in the morning......[:D]), a good bit of advice is to jump in the passenger seat of someone's car and let them take you round for a few laps. You'll pick up a lot of good tips that way.

Regards
