David,

Thank you for posting the remaining track day dates for 2013. For more information re PCGB track days contact me, Paul Grainger, or Steve Kevlin on 01608 652 911 / 917

We have one or two spaces left this coming Thursday (1st August) at Goodwood and also:

Castle Combe 8th August

This will be our last Castle Combe Track Day before the Porsche Club Championship visits on 26th August. It could prove to be an ideal opportunity for competitors to spend a day becoming familiar with the circuit. Or, if it could be a great chance to have some instruction for those who are now to racing.

This day one will be run Open pitlane, thus providing for lots of track time for all the drivers on the day. We will also have instruction available for those who require it.

The Open Pitlane environment allows for drivers to go on-track when they choose, creating a relaxed environment for all concerned. The drivers all seem to prefer this method of running the day and with only 8 cars (max) on track at one time, there is lots of space and little peer pressure or traffic.

Croft circuit "" Wednesday 21st August - Confirmed

An improvement in the level of bookings, coupled with the support of Strasse in Leeds has allowed us to confirm that the Club's Croft day planned for 21st August, will go ahead.

Due to noise restrictions placed on the circuit, we have booked this as a "˜noisy day' running at 105 dba "" as noisy as any of our days at any circuit. This means the cost of circuit hire is greater than in the past, but we will be able to accommodate most car types.

At £250 for a full day, it still represents good value where not many days are available at this noise level at Croft, unless jam-packed with all sorts of car types.

Many thanks to those who have committed so far to this day, but we could still do with more bookings. So, if you are planning to attend, please don't leave it to the last minute, but get your booking in now.

So, if you fancy a run out at the fabulous and fast Croft circuit, on a day when the weather should still be good, please call Club office to book a place Tel: 01608 652917).
