Anyone else going to this? - I've booked up for the full day to give my 944 it's inaugural track day (well, it's inaugural one in my ownership!). I think 'taster' sessions are also available (similar to last year).

it would be great to see a few R16 faces there!

Mick

Hopefully will be there for a full day although the racing budget has gone out the window due to the recent rear end re build

.... due to the recent rear end re build

Stuart - I really hope that you're talking about the Boxster, and not that you've blown the racing budget on cosmetic surgery on your derrière [;)]

What happened to necessitate the re-build?

The printable version;
Near the end of qualli at Donington with some faster cars behind I was Mr Polite and moved over offline, the first two cars went past but Alex Eacock decided to try and overtake those and in pulling out ploughed into the back of me sending us both spinning off the track and out of the day's racing.
Strasse took my car away with them, jigged and repaired it then brought it to Croft with them 3 weeks later. They did a fantastic job and changed the set up.
The car is going great now but I just need to push it more on the bends. It was my first visit to Croft so I had to learn the track in Qualli. Had a great day and finished both races with the second race red flaged and restarted.

Ouch! - that explains why you were not listed in the results from Donnington.

Good to hear that Croft went well and the car is going well with the new set-up.

The in-car footage is great - you were running well up to the spin.

See you soon

Mick
