PCGB trackday at Silverstone

Did the club trackday at Silverstone this week and had a great time. Wet and slippery in the morning but fast and dry in the afternoon. Good fun doing both - slow and a little bit sideways in the morning and more grip than I dared to trust in the afternoon.

And here's a couple of videos from inside the car. The 964 cab that you see now and again was owned by a chap called Tomas Valnek. The 997C4S cab I follow in the first video belongs to my brother....that thing was astonishing in the wet with its 4WD.

hi steve that looks like fun what sie tyre and rims are on the back they look massive can i ask wear you got the carrera stripes from on the side of your car regards ray
 
Hi Ray, the tyres are pretty much standard size i.e. 255/40 on 17 inch rims. I think they look wide at that angle due to the ride height.

I'd like to come over, but we're going to Porsche and Polo on the Sunday, so time is a little short!
