Had a superb day today karting. PCGB were all prepared to thrash the TVR boys, until a spanner was chucked in the works & it turned out 3 of the TVR lot are / were ex Scotish Karting champions / comptitors [8|][:D]

Bit sore now, but can't wait for the re-match [:D]

James,

I have recently joined PCGB and only just registered with this forum, so am sorry that I missed out on the last outing. However, subject to the constraints of my diary, I would be very keen to join in on the next outing - so please bear me in mind. I would describe myself as a fairly quick karter (is that a genuine noun?), able to do 54 second laps. I rather suspect that those Scots chaps would have been a good deal quicker than that though. However, perhaps you don't want to mix with pseudo-Porsche owners (front-engined, water-cooled!)?[;)]

Cheers,

Graham

most of the porsche team were front-engined water-cooled lads... probabally why we lost [;)][:D]

I think Nick will be organising a rematch at some point. If you know your lap times, you're already one level above the north east porsche karting team [;)][:D][:D]

btw, you don't happen to be related to a farmer ( Hinton) near Bedale ?

No, I'm not related to said farmer, nor (unfortunately) am I related to Amos Hinton, former owner of a chain of shops sold some time ago to Safeways - I would probably be a little better off if I were!

I look forward to the next karting meeting, and perhaps meeting some of you guys at the next regional meeting...

Cheers,

Graham
