PCM 3 997

Hi,

I am aware that the PCM version 3 is on the cards for the facelifted 997 range. As this will be MOSTbus would I be right in thinking it would retrofit into a 2003 MOSTbus 996? Although I do not have PCM 2. Which is the reason to look at this strategy.

Hi Richard do you have any thoughts on this?? Still not got my Avic thought this could be a killer retrofit.

Regards Alan

I haven't seen any details on PCM3 yet, so can't really comment. Bear in mind though, that a basic PCM2 retrofit kit for a 03-04 MOST car is £2837 (plus fitting). I doubt if Porsche will offer PCM3 as a retrofit kit for the 996. I think you could do a lot better, for a lot less money with an aftermarket system.

Looks good with a new 6.5" touchscreen then options of
Bluetooth
USB
Navigation with Hard drive
TV Tuner
Voice Control
Bose with 385 Watts of 5.1 surround

And I'd guess absolutly no chance of fitting it to a 996
