PCM 3 nav poblems

Hi,

I'm having issues with my PCM 3 nav system in that it doesn't speak the instructions out even though the volume is set to 6! It also plots very strange routes even with dynamic route turned off! Has anyone had any issues or know of how i can get this working again, everything else works fine

Interesting one John! Just to confirm - via "Nav" menu, select "option" then on route guidance select "quick route" and "dynamic re-route"? Then the voice guidance is set to 6 too? Hmm, that's exactly how mine is set up and no problems other than the usual sat nav inadequacies! Sounds like a trip to the menders to maybe reboot the hard drive or some such?
There is probably some way to reboot it yourself but that beyond my knowledge...[:(]
Oh, and which software version do you have? Latest is 1.4, I think!
 
Hi Yeah ive tried it on quick and short etc and volume is set to 6, i spoke to OPC and they said to do factory reset... ill give that a go when im back home and see
