PCM cd changer connections

Hi all

Just collected my new 997 cab - a great improvement on the 996.

I have not speced the cd changer in the hope that I coukd attach an MP3 player. In the 006 there was a set of phono leads ready for CD changer connection and my MP3 player worked brilliantly.

My question is does the 997 PCM have phono leads in the boot area like the 009. I have had a preliminary recky but all I can find close to the satnav DVD player is a multi lead flat connector. Am I looking in the tight place and are phono leads provided? (or am I wasting my time).

Thanks

Jonathan

Later 996 and 997s are all on the MOST Bus fibre optic system - no harness is provided through the bulkhead, although a blank rubber grommet isready and waiting. The harness is available from parts department, but as you can imagine it requires most of the cnetre console items to be removed for access.

There is an article on Renntech, in the Boxster section, which shows the harness and the the 'cable' routing. It may be slightly different for the 997, but it'll give you an idea.

Unable to help here. However why listen to music, just tune into the flat 6 with your top off.
Congratts on your purchase, any pics?
