Amazingly good timing as driving several hundred miles on holiday today

PCM (2.1) starts acting up this morning with the volume reducing of it's own accord.

2 hours in and the PCM stops responding to any inputs, volume doesn't work, can't switch between functions e.t.c

Then. It starts randomly rebooting itself at approx 4 minute intervals

Stopped for coffee and when I started off again it let me turn it off

The it starts turning on and then immediately off again at 2 minute intervals

Put up with this until I arrived at my destination as no real option

Nowhere near an OPC

For now I've pulled. The fuse and hopefully tomorrow it will have fixed itself

In case not, any suggestions?

well just to follow this up I'm glad to say pulling the fuse for 24 hurs seems to have fixed it, and touch wood no reoccurence

having spent last weekend in wales it did the same again

the only common scenario I can think of is both times I've had the nose full of luggage

I'm thinkng ether something is overheating or a wire/connector is being pressed on something

more investigation needed but I'm leaning towards the heat issue as I packed a little less in on the way back and it still did it

You'd think, but it was fine Saturday empty of luggage but Friday on the run up and Sunday on the way back whilst fully loaded it was a pain
