PCM Help Please

HI Chaps

I have a PCM that is playing up. The right hand knob only toggles between two digits. It means the sat nav can only take me to towns that only have a and b in their name. I wonder if anyone out there has any ideas. Becker have told me that they can't look at it as Porsche will not allow them to. The only option is a £1000 exchange at a OPC.

Two things i'd suggest: -

1. If its a mechanical issue with the knob, IIRC, they are removable by pulling it out. I could be wrong but thats how the PCM2.1 works. Then try blowing a can of compressed air into the (variable resistor) component to clean it up.

2. If the issue is with the PCM software, try pulling the fuse to the thing and rest it.
