Is it possible to get it unlocked to accept another sim apart from 02 or voda ??
secondly, with the phone, if you phone a traffic report for example it will ask you to enter a `motorway number ` how ?????

As far as I'm aware PCM1 was O2 and Vodaphone only..PCM became orange also.

Not many vendors produced fixed car phones. There were only 3 suppliers I think (inc. Siemens who I would guess Porsche might use).
Only one of these, as far as I know, was dual band (Motorola). This means that if the phone you haveonly works on VF and O2, then it is a single band unit (900).

It is therefore not a locking issue, so no amount of codes will help you.
The only soution would be to replace the unit (a black box located somewhere in the car - which is worth about £100 but they will charge you quite few times more than this for it).
