PCM problem - No Sound

Hi

Having problems with the Cayenne's radio, everything looks like it works navigation, phone, rear view camera but absolutely no sound. Initially thought amplifier was broken so had it checked and it works out of the car. There is 12v in the amplifier plug and also the plug for the Bose speaker (which also doesn’t make any noise). There are also lights in the fibre optic cables at the amplifier when the head unit is turned on.

Have now removed the head unit and had it checked and it appears to be working fine, have also tried another head unit and this seems to work fine except for the total lack of sound.

Would be grateful for any help as what to try next?
