Folks

I’ve just had the first service done on my T4S and whilst in the PCM has had a software update to version 3849.

i previously had the shortcut diamond button on the dash set to turn the centre display off but cannot find the shortcut for that to program it with the updated software.

i can turn it off by pressing the volume control but that turns the stereo off too or by going through settings, display, central display off but i loved my shortcut button.

Has this function been removed or am
I loosing the plot?

Thanks

Try this:-
Car > Control > Vehicle > Quick Access Buttons > Centre Console Button > Display Off

Thanks Clive

The image of the PCM you posted looks pretty much like mine did and with those options. The new one does have the Quick Access Buttons but you get there in a different order.

Unfortunately when you do, the Switch Off PCM Display is no longer a feature by the looks. It's certainly not there on mine. I wondered if anyone one knew of a hidden or back door way to get to it.

Interestingly, mine now has the option to Quick Access the Ioniser which is great as mine doesn't have that :ROFLMAO:

Ive added the image to show how the updated Home Screen looks now.

Thanks for checking.

What I can see there is no quick action key on the latest PCM 6.0, the one with colour icons like you have.
To switch off central display, go to setting display, central Display. To switch back on just touch the screen
