Seem to have an intermittant issue with the pcm....when driving & usually with music on, sometimes it just goes off completely then comes back almost immediately in its start up sequince and is fine. Anyone else had similar or is it a known issue?

Yeah thought as much but just wondered if anyone else had experience of same. TBH its only happend a few times and is that intermittant the local OPC would just do the usual and say they can't find anything wrong

porsheuro,

Do you know what could cause the car to refuse to go beyond 3500 rpm? There are no warning signs on the dash, usually the gear changes are very slow and it all happens around about a bang nosie from the front of the car(sounds like someone has thrown a stone at the front underside)... I'm huessing that if the rpm is restricted then it is a condition that the ecu has imposed?

cheers
Alex
