PCM2 Help

Hi All

I am half way through retro fit PCM2 unit. The unit from germany seems relative old and has no facility in the main menu to change to English text, only speech in English. When you press the main and trip buttons the software version does not show. Is there a CD that allows you to enter updated versions ie. 2.1 3.0 etc.

If so, how do you go about getting one.

Thanks Graham

I am not 100% sure, but I think that I have read somewhere that PCM2 software updates can only be carried out by an authorised porsche mechanic (they need the special diagnostics tool - can't remember its name). Once you are up to version 3 (which is the latest) then every time you insert a newer map it will do the minor updates.

Tub,

Have you a system settings? My PCM 1 changes language in this menu wich is found in the on board computer screen.

Look under settings if it is there

If i go into Main then settings GB shows under Sprachen but it does not change text.

I think a trip to the garage may be required.

Thanks Graham
