PCM2 satnav update

Hi, old chestnut I know, but have been quoted £400+ by my local OPC for an updated set of PCM2 Ed 2.0 satnav disks. Surely there is a cheaper method, after all I can get my Garmin hand held updated 4 times a year for life of unit for only £70. Not expecting postcodes, just something that gives me a later picture of the UK/Eu than currently. Is there a cheaper way?

The latest sisks from Porsche are 08.2009, which were released in January 2010. (MY 2010 - cunning plan to extend the shelf life?)

They seem to be releasing map updates every two years, so I suspect there may be newer maps at the end of the year, or early next. I'll email you with some details.
 
Hi

I just updated my PCM1 satnav CD (2010 map data) from the following web site for £40- including postage and it seems to work just fine.

They also provide PCM2 DVDs.

They are not official discs and I don't know where they get their data from, but this is the cheapest place I've found for PCM satnav updates.
 
The site http://gpsunderground.com/forum/porsche/6009-pcm2-0-pcm3-0-2010-map.html has the latest ones for PCM 2.0 vers 3.0 but I can never work out how to burn the ISO disks after downloading !
