PCM3: Can you delete Home destination?

My home destination is set for the local police station a mile away. I can usually find my way home from there. I think you can reset the actual localion "home" takes you to, so just pick somewhere nearby, police station, pub car park, someone you would like to see burgled, etc.
 
Do you have to drive to said location and then update Home destination somehow, or can you do it via POI or similar?
 
Reading about thefts of cars with SatNav on another forum, can you change the Home stored destination on PCM3 to another word, or delete it altogether? If thieves steal your car and use the home function they can find your home and see what else they can nick.
