PDK creep in traffic.

When waiting at traffic lights the car creeps forward. Pressing the footbrake holds the car, but is a clutch slipping at this time ? Should I select neutral ?
Should I be concerned about glare from brake lights to the vehicle behind ? Any thoughts please.

This is normal as the first gear will be engaged and the car will creep forward although it only be very slightly, if you wish to avoid dazzling cars behind with your brake lights move the gear lever to neutral as you would probably do in a manual car anyway.

On the other hand, a car approaching you from some way off is more likely to notice you have stopped if your brake lights are lit.

I wouldn't worry about your brake lights, it's normal on any automatic car to creep (unless facing uphill) and need to keep your foot on the brake. As suggested just select neutral or park if stopped for a longer period.

If I think I am going to be stopped for anything more than a few seconds, I always shift it into neutral. In a traffic jam, I have been known to use the electronic handbrake as well, to give my left foot a rest. I do wonder though, how many people drive it like a car with a torque convertor gearbox and just stand on the footbrake until it's time to go.
