Hi Guys, Just back from Classic Le Mans, stayed on for a while. Anyway on switching headlamps back to RHD the dip beam is now very low, 30 mph max to be safe ??Full beam working ok. Any ideas why ?

Have you tried switching them back to LHD then to RHD a few times? It might convince them back properly?

Hi Robin,

Yes tried a few times, system won’t let you switch on the move which was ok on M27 but that was shut for roadworks & M3 was also showing closed, so decided to go A road via Alton at which point could not see past the bonnet ❗️Then A road closed so ended up going to Winchester to get back on M3, welcome back to UK, roads are a nightmare 😱 1500 miles in France no problem 👍

I know exactly what you mean about the road closures, I had the very same experience upon my return from France 5th July but without the PDLS problem. VERY annoying especially when tired and looking forward to a smooth journey home to Basingstoke after covering some 3,000+ miles around Portugal, Spain and France without too much trouble!

If you have PDLS Plus you can leave your headlights on main beam:

What is the difference between PDLS and PDLS Plus? Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus has two added functions. First, at speeds higher than about 40 mph, the dynamic main beam will turn on and detect oncoming traffic and vehicles in front of you. The light cone’s intensity and range are adjusted depending on the surroundings. Secondly, Intersection Assistant turns on the electronic cornering lights to adjust the broadness and length of the light cones, which increases the visibility of the vehicle’s surroundings.
