The start venue is Grin Low picnic area. Meeting at 1.30pm to leave at 2.00pm

From Buxton, take the A53 (signed Leek) for 2 1/2 miles. turn left onto an unclassified road towards Harpur Hill and then immediately turn left into Grin Low car park and picnic area.

From Macclesfield, approach Buxton on the A537. At the junction with the A53 from Leek turn right, and then first left onto an unclassified road towards Harpur Hill and then immediately turn left again into Grin Low car park and picnic area.

There are toilets at Grin Low, but no shop - so if you need lunch either bring a picnic or have something en route.

After a "leisurely" drive around the Peak District (the exact route will be advised on the day and maps/directions will be provided) we will be going to Brian and Isabelle Smiths' for something to eat. There will be a nominal charge for this. (No more than £5.00 pp)

Great run, my regards to Chris & co. for organising it, sorry we had to leave after Ashbourne (combination of impending downpour - pre galvanised remember! - me having had flu all week and the kids having their homework to do!), excellent mix of cars too. Sorry no pics, camera left on in glovebox resulting in flat batteries. Next we're doing the Cotswolds Rally in the 924, anyone else from R5 going?
