Peculiar noise from suspension?i think?

Hi everyone, my wife has just purchased a 1999 T-reg boxster, 64K, massive service history(every single receipt) had a new clutch at 32K.

Since buying it, we have noticed a peculiar creaking noise at low speeds when we move the steering wheel about 2 cms to left or right. I have read another post about the clutch springs making the same type of noise, however i am sure that the noise is coming form the front. Does Anyone have any idea what this noise might be?

Fortuantely the company we bought the car offf has agreed to sort the problem at Porsche in Leeds, but i would still be interested to find out if anyoje else has had teh same problem.

When I've had creaking from suspension on other cars it was normally the result of worn track rod ends or suspension arm bushes.

thnks for the reply, thats what i thought it might be as i have had similar problems on precious cars, bu they werent a porsche. So i thought it might be a common problem that other people may have sufferd with and had rectified.

Control arm bushes, common problem. Long thread on this on Renntech (replacing the bushes rather than the arm that is).
