Pedal Spacing

In a GT3 I find heel & toe is relatively easy (although it's with the side of the foot rather than the heel) - because the pedal spacing and heights are spot on, for me at least.

In the RS - where getting it right matters more due to the light-flywheel - I can't get anywhere near the accelerator while braking.
Is there a simple, reversible, non max-power solution to the pedal spacing?

Thanks.

Ian

I had the exact same problem with the standard pedal arrangement, which unfortunately is none adjustable (I think). What I have done is fitted a ''flanged'' cover over the accelerator pedal which effectively brings it over to the left and within easy reach from the brake pedal. Instalation was simple using 3 bolts and a little drilling (3 mm bit I think). Have a look on ''Type 911''s web site Ian.

Regards,Matt.

With the LHD 964 and 993 cars, I brake with the heel and blip the throttle with the toes.

With the RHD 964 ad 993 cars I brake with the front of my foot and blip the throttle with either the edge of my foot, or the heel.

With the RHD 968, 996GT3 and Turbo there is room for me to heel the brake and toe the throttle ...

Additional accel pedal rubber to bring it level with brake pedal and then off set Sparco brake pedal bolted onto extg.
