Was just wondering if the air box does make any difference to performance, fuel and nosie? How much are they normaly to buy. This one is one ebay for £56.00 + P&P brand new.

plus the noise is very good, especially on vram cars from 5000rpm.....

Some people are happy with just motorsound intake and stock exhaust.

I think it sounds so much better than a standard airbox. And with the roof down theres no need to have the stereo on.

With extra intake noise and the roof down, I doubt you would even know you had a stereo [:D]

How easy is it to install - are there different versions for Varioram / non Varioram?

Pete

AFAIK there is only one version. Fitting takes all of 30 seconds and no tools are involved. Unclip the old one and clip on the new one, then transfer a rubber pipe.

Well worth doing.

Thanks for your input. I will keep an eye on it and see how the price goes. In this weather the roof is alway open so a better sound would be nice.

a worthy upgrade or just drill holes in the side of your existing airbox which work just as well !!
