Silver Clubsport? Is it the one that was sold by SCoM about 3 years ago...it was priced up at around £55k IIRC? Not sure if Silver was in fact the original colour?[8|] The car I am referring to was badged "Carrera RSR"....it was at Harewood house in 2006. [:D]....who's father was Chief of Police???? Article called RS = Really special and discusses 5 generations of the RS.

Worth buying ? I've always thought of that mag as "Evo Lite"
Agreed - not normally. Used to get it before Evo. Evo is my magazine of choice. Get P&911 World on subscription since no.1. Seriously taking over the house now - help!

The original Performance Car magazine from the 90's was merged into Car magazine a few years back. John Barker & Richard Meaden jumped ship to set up Evo. Meaden has jumped again to the web mag Drivers Republic. What is now Performace Car is a new magazine which has been going for about a year. I had the OTT magazine problem, but no more. Dumped 90% when we moved in 2007 and now pass everything on to my son who recycles them when hes read them

Just been out at lunch and bought a copy, no sign of the article.... What's on the cover of the mag? Agree, PC is so like Evo in style its unreal!! Even the sections are similar. new drives, a few columns, letters, big glossy articles, then long termers, then ads, then data pages, and a odd ball last page!! Amazing.

Is it just me , but I do find Evo and all its Evoness just a little max power for middle aged folks? Without wishing to sound trapped in the 80s and 90s I think it plain that since then cars are heavier and , in my view , more numb. I know safety and emissions play a big part but so does the proliferation of electrickery, just look at the current 997GT3. Imagine how light a properly stripped of graphic equaliser and disco ball version could be? Evo seems to rave however at the release of every new model as to how wonderful it is compared to the last ....yet usually when it then does eventually a comparison of old vs new it'll say how much it enjoys the feel of the old car. Now I know modern stuff is quick. My daily R32 is wonderful, fast, grippy, awesome motorway cruiser (better than my last jag XJR in fact) and a great acheivement but never do i once think of taking it for a drive for fun. My R5 turbo or MK2 GTi were crap really compared to new cars but just so much more fun. So for me Evoness is just a bit tedious from jethro Bovingprat and his mates...oh and they don't rate our beloved 993 RS, bit soft for them... Still I'll end up sounding like my Dad if i'm not careful.
