Hi Folks,
I have a 911 sc 1977 and I am noticing a HUGE performance difference between different brands and even same brand but different stations. I am based in Ireland, but I have has the SC in the UK for a few trips and I noticed the same thing. Is it due to the possibility that my engine is just tuned badly? But even if it is tuned badly, surely I should be getting consistent results from the fuel if the fuel is the same?
In General, what works best for me seems to be Texaco and the worst petrol I have ever had is from the Statoil in Wexford on the Rosslare road a few miles from the main ferry port.
When the petrol is bad, I get very flat acceleration and lumpyness.
So, Is it just my SC or are others having similar problems?
