petrol tank/oil drop

hi can anybody advise me on how to empty the petrol tank the car has been stood since 2000 and been told best too change the petrol

Get a long piece of tubing. Place one end into the fuel tank so the end is submerged in the petrol. Get the other end and place it so it feeds into a container. The end of the tubing outside the car must be lower down than the end in the fuel tank, so keep it low to the ground.
When you have done this, suck the fuel through the piping with your mouth until it comes out, this rids of any air in the pipe. There's chance you get a mouth full of petrol so be careful, it wont kill you but try not to swallow gallons of it! When the fuel reaches your end, it will suck the rest of the fuel out by itself as long as you keep the mouthed end close to the floor. It's called siphoning (?sp)

Hope This Helps - Rawky
