Petrol the right choice

Reading a couple of these threads AdBlue and emission warning lights
I am rather glad i opted for the V6 3.5 petrol.
Now done 100 miles and she is performing as well if not better than my V8 4,5
The acceleration is surprising and very useful on the M25 yesterday .
Very pleased with it so far .

A much better - and cleaner - choice Kev. The diesel is a really dirty device - although it produces supposedly lower CO2 [though that's disputed], it produces high levels of dangerous smog-inducing oxides of nitrogen and carcinogenic particulates, so in addition to a cat converter, it also requires an expensive particulate filter and now an AdBlue injection system to meet future emission requirements. Ridiculous!

Anyone in doubt should take a look at this recent BBC article:

The modern DFI petrol engine is a much "safer" bet.
