Request for a car for GT Purely Porsche - here's your chance for fame!
Dear Pete
I am putting together an Essential Guide feature for GT Purely Porsche
to cover the middle-year 911s and was hoping that you would be able to
help me source a car to appear in the photoshoot for the magazine?
Specifically I am after a standard 911 SC, preferably in Cabriolet
guise.
The text in the feature is basically a history of the models so cars
for the photos need to be as close to the original specification as
possible. I am also going to try and source a 2.7 911 Targa, a 3.0
Carrera and a 3.3 litre Turbo with the relevant registers.
At the moment the potential dates I have for the shoot would be either
Thursday 15 or Friday 16th September, with the shoot lasting one day
(usually 9.30am - 4.30pm) and taking place at Bruntingthorpe Proving
Ground near Leicester.
I would much appreciate it if you could either post this email on the
911SC forum or put me in touch with any members you have with suitable
cars that might be interested in attending the day.
